Mortgage in the United States

Mortgage in United States involves various procedures and dealings between the lender and the borrower. Mortgage is a conditional security of property for the repayment of a loan or debt. In the United States there are two types of mortgage instruments- the mortgage and the deed of trust. Generally in most countries mortgages are referred to loans secured on real estate rather than other property. In the other type of mortgage in United States which is called deed of trust the foreclosure of the lien does not require judicial proceeding.
